After much prayer and seeking counsel, I have decided to start a blog. I feel that helping women, wives, and mothers understand and live the way the Lord has called them to is a calling God has placed on my life. I am not perfect in any of these areas, but thankfully the Lord does not call for perfection. I'm very new at blogging but I pray that you will join me on this journey.
Why the title "Homemade Legacy"? Those that know me well, know I love making things homemade, so that part is simple. Now for the legacy part... One of my favorite Christian artists, Nichole Nordeman, has a song entitled "Legacy". In it, she talks about the legacy she wants to leave behind when she is gone--one of mercy and grace with her eyes on the Lord. This is the prayer of my heart, and I hope through this blog to share that with all of my readers. I've included the song below so that you can listen, enjoy and be inspired...
